When I start accelerating form a dead stop in the 300zx my car will be VERY sluggish until it hits about 3.5-4K rpms then it will be like VTEC and I just reach like a new level of torque and my car has alot more power. It is only when my car goes from a dead stop or slow roll. If I star from a redlight and just le it hit like 2.5-3k then floor it it will do the same thing. What do you think could be the verdict here? Slipping clutch? Mine is going bad for sure but wouldnt that effect driving overall?
