So I have decided to step away from the motor performance of my car and focus on aduio and suspension. *Disapprovers need not say anything* After nearly two weeks I have finally decided on what I plan on installing in my car.

Looks like a great start to an audiophile system!
Typically, true audiophiles rely just as heavily on the quality of the original recording...as they do the playback equipment... therefore most CDs whether MP3 or audio will rarely output the quality desired by most audiophiles... Granted, some higher end CDs and DVDs offer output closer to analog these days... but still pale in comparison to vinyl... not tryng to be a dick, but the term audiophile can rarely be used when discussing car audio.

^^True...in reality no car stereo can really be audiophile(even with terrific playback media). No vehicle is conducive to setting up a true soundstage with tonal accuracy. Car stereo manufacturers go out of their way to try to imitate the feeling of a large room without obstructions to the listner's ears. All we can do is get as close as possible to home theater sound without actually achieving it.

Vinyl is only great the very first time it is played. After that it sucks.

I had several high end systems before I decided to move into the performance world. I can still appreciate the sound of a well put together system. Hell, this weekend I spent all night helping my friend install his stereo. It was a pain in the ass, but it sure does sound good. He has some Focal 6.5 front and rear components, Alpine headunit, Phoenix Gold Titanium 4 and 2 channel amps, 2 Alumapro Alchemy 12" subs. It was an old system out of his last car just collecting dust. So we decided to put it to good use in his current car.

Maybe...I'm starting school again at UGA this week to finish up after a 5 yr. hiatus. I may be short on free time with school. You never know though. Let me know.

I am talking about coming up with the cash.
I am talking about hooking it all up. That is if you dont know how. If you do then void my post. But how you were asking him for help it came off to me that you dont know how to do it and wanted some help installing it. I guess it could have been that you just wanted to get it done faster and were asking for some help. :dunno:
